Rockin' the Red Carpet

My friend Derek Snow and I have had lots of fun playing studio, darling, you know, "action, camera, lights!" the past few weeks. Derek did a shoot for me at work, in which he captured my organization's executives in a really warm-yet-professional way.

And Saturday night he shot the Sweet 16 party for one of those executive's daughter. It was a great party with an Old Hollywood theme, so we did a red carpet arrival. I serve as the test subject when he's trying to frame a shot, and I thought this picture was pretty funny. It's the closest I'll ever come to being on a red carpet!

The kids loved arriving this way and I cannot wait to see the portfolio of proofs. Sweet 16 parties have changed a lot since I was a kid. That party was off the hook! Awesome DJ, great decorations and food, kids all dressed up pop-lock-and-droppin' it ... but rest assured knowing there is still all sorts of dramz amongst the youthful set.
