Hate Crimes

I hope you can read this drivel. (Try clicking on the image and perhaps it will enlarge, if you cannot.)

Letters like this appear in Tuscaloosa News all of the time, spanning a broad range of fundamental viewpoints on things like medicine, education, waste disposal, lawn sprinkling, etc. It is so difficult to comprehend. I just don't know what else to say.

Oh, except, there is a difference between Hate Speech and a Hate Crime, jackass. Perhaps you should educate yourself before you go spouting off in an editorial. And "witnessing?" Reading stuff like that I usually find myself saying "this cannot be real, nobody can think this way". And yet, they do.
Particularly alarming is being in fear of losing the ability to commit a crime against another person in the name of Religion. Fantastic!
