Grieving for strangers ...

I read stories like this and I immediately feel guilty for having worries or anxiety - ever. This is a horror that is really unfathomable.

I have to say that the replication of stories like this do lend validity to the reality of post-partum depression (thank you Brooke Shields and piss-off Tom Cruise).

It tears me up to think about those poor little girls, watching their mother - the person they probably trust and love the most - in those last moments, unaware of their fates.

I had this same reaction when Paula Yates drowned her children in Houston. There's no way to comprehend it; it just leaves me feeling vacant and morose.
